Mohammad Yasin MP writes: "We pay tribute to our armed forces and their extraordinary efforts to protect us all every day. We must do more to look after veterans after active service both in terms of adjusting to civilian life and ensuring they are not left without support."
Attending the flag raising ceremony at Bedford Borough Hall included The Mayor of Bedford Borough, Mohammad Yasin MP, Bedford Borough Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Cllr Mohammed Nawaz, the piper and other representatives from councils and armed forces.
