Let's make this a safer place for all

Ford End Road has become increasingly difficult and dangerous for pedestrians to cross in recent years due to the increase in traffic.

Many people raised the issue with us during our regular door knocking sessions in Queen's Park, fearing for the safety of their children and the elderly.

We promised the presidents we would make every effort to ensure a pedestrians crossing was provided. I'm happy to say our hard work has paid off and we have managed to obtain funds from Bedford Borough Council for a pedestrian crossing.

However, we need people to respond to the consultation, which is well underway now, and residents only have until October 10 to respond.
