Message to Shan and the incensed Roger below. Well good luck Roger. Shan Hunt is probably not going to be the one to sort out any parking problems now, in the near future or ever. She thinks planning officers, despite their specialist knowledge, no nothing about parking. She has just okayed a planning app to quadruple the size of a mosque in Queens Park, and thinks this will have no effect on parking. Of course why does Shan thinks she has a say on this. She doesn’t live live there does she. Of course, if it was down her street, that we be a different story. My advice Roger, if you change your name to Mohammad she may take notice, because winning votes and protecting her Councillor status is perhaps highest on the priority list for this outdated, out of touch representative. It’s about time Shan and the other cronies in our Council move on and move out, and let there be representation for the people and not just to tow their party line.

Firstly, congratulations to Shan on her re election.

I’m writing as I was absolutely incensed with the selfish, dangerous & thoughtlessness of the parking outside Kempston Rovers & beyond on Saturday.
There was parking on both sides of the road, illegal parking on the grass verge & parking right on the corner of Butler Way.
This inconsiderate & chaotic parking is not only dangerous for other road users, but also for pedestrians & with no regard to the emergency services, should they need access.
I have photos of the situation if you so need.
I’m not advocating yellow lines all over the place, but there is certainly need for policing on occasions such as the one on Saturday. I’m therefore asking that this situation, on Saturday, is investigated & a commitment given that events in this area are properly policed in the future.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you.
